Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 September 2026

Draft notice: this is a starting-point draft, not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer. Have it reviewed — in particular the liability and refund sections — before relying on it for real customers.

1. About us

TakeBack ("we", "us") is operated from Belgium. By using this website or purchasing a plan, you agree to these terms.

2. What we do

We help creators identify unauthorized copies of their content on third-party websites and file copyright takedown notices with the relevant host or platform on their behalf.

3. Your authorization

By submitting a case, you confirm that you own the rights to the content in question, or are authorized to act on the rights holder's behalf, and you authorize us to file takedown notices identifying that content and its unauthorized location. Submitting a case you are not authorized to act on is a breach of these terms.

4. No guaranteed outcome

We work each case in good faith and file notices using standard, established procedures, but we cannot guarantee that any specific host or platform will remove content, or how quickly. Some hosts do not respond to takedown notices at all.

5. Pricing and payment

Prices shown on this site exclude VAT, which is calculated and added at checkout based on your location. Payment is processed by our payment provider, Whop, Inc. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time and will not renew for the next billing period. One-time packages are billed once for the scope described at purchase; work already started at the time of a cancellation request is non-refundable.

6. Confidentiality

We treat case details as confidential and do not disclose your identity when filing a notice on your behalf.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for a host or platform's failure or refusal to act on a notice we file.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Belgian courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your own country of residence.

9. Changes to these terms

We'll update the date at the top of this page if these terms change materially.
