TakeBack ("we", "us") provides content-removal services for creators on live-streaming and subscription platforms. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at takeback@corebits.uk.
When you use the contact form on this site, we collect the name, email address, platform(s), and message you provide. We do not require your legal identity, and you can use a stage name or alias when contacting us.
If you purchase a plan, payment and billing details are collected and processed directly by our payment provider, Whop, Inc. — we do not see or store your card details. Whop's own privacy policy governs that data.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Because of the nature of our service, a case may reveal information about the platforms you create content on. We treat all case details as confidential, restrict internal access to what's needed to work your case, and do not disclose your identity when filing a takedown notice on your behalf — notices are filed using our own contact details, not yours.
We keep case-related data for as long as needed to complete the case and to maintain a record for legal and accounting purposes, and delete or anonymize it when it's no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your data sooner, subject to legal retention requirements (e.g. for tax records).
Some of the providers above (including Whop and Cloudflare) may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers publish, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact takeback@corebits.uk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. To show pricing in your local currency, your browser makes a request to our own domain to read your approximate country — this is not stored and no cookie is set for it.
We'll update the date at the top of this page if this policy changes materially.
